Midnight Brunch was even more fun than it sounds… yeah, that’s saying a lot! Ashley Gregg knew a photo booth would be the final kicker to make this party pop like their champagne. And the open-air booths juuuuust managed to fit their giant bottles. 😉

SXSW
Known to locals as “South By,” South By Southwest is a conglomeration festival/conference that takes over downtown Austin for about 10 days each spring. It tends to be conveniently scheduled around the public schools’ spring break periods, so the city actually doesn’t get too crazy outside of the downtown area. In fact, I-35 barely had any traffic during rush hour this year, thanks to the use of ride shares by those visiting for SXSW and the vacations taken by Austinites not attending the festival!
With days covering tech and interactive advances, a film festival, and a music festival, SXSW has something to offer everyone. Celebrities of all these realms can be found wandering Austin’s famous 6th street or shopping at the original Whole Foods. Many new companies launch during this time, bands are debuted, and stars are made at the historic Paramount Theater on Congress Avenue. It’s truly a celebration of our awesome city and has growth exponentially over the last 5 years!
